With my first three contributions to WordPress core, I also made it on the Credits page for the new release, which is a huge honor for me:
Ever since I started out coding in late 2008 and stumbleing across WordPress, I got more and more engaged with the software. In early stages I developed a few plugins and created a theme for a couple of friends of mine. Then I took it a step further, when I was given the opportunity to create and maintain the blog network of HolidayCheck, and took on my first outside freelance projects. But it wasn’t until this year, that I really got involved. After joining the WordPress Theme Review Team in March and publishing my first Theme at the Repository, I also started to read more through the core trac tickets and finally found opportunities to contribute.
